The Divine Feminine blossomed out of a passionate desire to offer women beautiful, nourishing and exciting alternatives to celebrate some of the major transitions in their lives, particularly marriage and pregnancy.

Kat Skarbek, Head Honcho of The Divine Feminine, believes today’s modern goddesses are more aware, more intuitive about their needs and more discerning in their choices and that the usual offerings for hen nights and baby showers are simply not interesting women anymore. She saw a genuine need to discover new possibilities to celebrate women’s transitions (rites of passage) in ways which delighted, empowered and inspired women but which were also light-hearted delectable fun.

Originally from England, Kat has been a practising therapist, teacher and passionate explorer of women’s mysteries for over fourteen years. She is a member of the Massage Association of Australia and the International Federation of Aromatherapists, has Diplomas in Massage and Aromatherapy and is a well-respected teacher in the UK. She now operates the Divine Feminine in Melbourne and Brisbane, with plans to extend to more states very soon.

As part of her own wisdom journey, Kat has facilitated a variety of workshops with internationally renowned indigenous and non-indigenous teachers, in fields as diverse as Shamanism, Women’s Mysteries and Metaphysics. She has studied Mendhi, Belly Dance and Tarot reading and considers herself to be the eternal student, always searching, always learning and always trying to find new ways to bring beauty and magic back into women’s lives.

Kat truly believes that all transitions in women’s lives need to be approached with compassion and with a sense of mystery and joy and so she has made it her mission to create nourishing new wisdom traditions which can be passed on woman to woman.
